Mat and the band had just wrapped up the final leg of their tour on October 27th.  They're currently somewhere else (other than an exhausted tour bus) taking it easy for a change.  But just yesterday it was announced that Mat Kearney will be performing in these select cities during the months of November and December.  Check back frequently as even more shows may be announced soon!

Mat Kearney is releasing a special acoustic version of "Nothing Left To Lose" on a special all-star charity CD called Serve2 which benefits the innovative anti-hunger organization WHY, which was founded nearly 30 years ago by singer/songwriter Harry Chapin.

Serve2, sponsored by Hard Rock International and The Orchard, will be available digitally, exclusively, at iTunes on November 6th.  It will also go on sale at Hard Rock Cafes worldwide, and online at WHY's and the Hard Rock websites.

The charity album will be released on November 6th through The Hard Rock Cafe

Mat and Tyler recently performed an acoustic set for AT&T Blue Room.  The set list included Nothing Left to Lose, Girl America, Undeniable, and Crashing Down. Mat Kearney released a new Acoustic EP exclusive to itunes today. The EP includes four songs stripped down, "Nothing Left to Lose", Girl America", "In the Middle", and "Renaissance".  You can purchase the songs individually from the itunes store for $0.99 each, or you can buy the entire album for just $2.97. It makes a great little gift for you and everyone else. You can now view  the "Stripped Music" session, in its entirety, featuring Mat Kearney on www.clearchannelmusic.com .   The session was performed in Nashville and includes some of Nashville's finest local musicians.  Not only were the tracks recorded acoustic style, but include accompaniment by musicians on  violin, cello, and rhodes. Mat chose to perform three of his latest songs during this intimate set, "Nothing Left to Lose", All I Need", and "Undeniable".   But as an extra special treat for his fans, he also performed an amazing cover of one of his favorite artist's songs, "Atlantic City" by Bruce Springsteen.   The kind people of "Stripped Sessions" also took the time to provide Mat's fans with some new media art including Mat Kearney wallpapers, buddy icons, and more. Apparently our favorite performer, Mat Kearney, snuck into the Rhapsody Origionals studio last December to perform a requested exclusive session with the Rhapsody online music service.
